• In our next class “Blood and Guts” our #1 voted student favorite class we have once a year, we are  going to be focusing on application and coloring appliances, and out of kit FX Makeup  on our models ALL DAY LONG!   • In our previous classes we focused on the entire process of sculpting, molding, casting and then applying our appliances. This class is all about the most fun part application. From FX Transfers to Silicone appliances, Monster makeup and more , this class is jam packed with all kinds of makeup applications. EVERYTHING is PROVIDED! • For beginners and those that already have a good grasp of creating your appliances, this class is the next step, Application. It is also good for those who typically  order prosthetics from online. Learn to apply them as realistically as possible. • Not only will we be applying prosthetics that  look and feel real, we are going to learn on camera practical effects like slicing throats, gun shots, and the stuff that will make your next movie ultra realistic • By focusing on the effects, we have much more time to get that all important coloring correct and less time on fabrication. • The effects we will learn can be used on film, T.V. and even appear real Live in person!

This will be the first hybrid class we have done, where half of you will be at home on Zoom and the other half in class. Please let me know if you change your mind on in person and want to instead do zoom or vice versa. Due to Covid, the class address has CHANGED!!! We are now meeting at 4331 Chesapeake Dr, Charlotte NC 28216. NEW Wave Acrylics has went out of their way to provide a spacious, open area for us to hold class so we can space out as required by NC guidelines. I have attached a map shot. When you arrive, there will be a loading dock with a ramp walk up near the parking area. Please come up the ramp and once inside turn left. The class room is immediately visible. ZOOM STUDENTS ONLY: Makeup Kits will need to be picked up Thursday JULY 23rd from the parking area of the class. DO NOT go inside the building. You will see a big white church bus parked in the parking area. That is ToeTag 1 our portable makeup lab. Please come to it to pick up your kit between the hours of 12 noon and 2pm. Please wear your mask. If you would like your kit mailed to you instead please paypal $14.00 for shipping costs. Make sure the shipping address is correct.
